Lunch & Learn Series: International Trade – chance or pitfall for energy transition in Europe?

Session 3

In order to secure access to raw materials such as lithium and nickel, needed for changing the EU's energy matrix, EU policy makers have been crafting FTAs with resource rich countries, among them Chile and Indonesia. In this session we will have a look at the FTAs with these two countries, their importance for the green transition in Europe and their consequences for Chile and Indonesia. Guest speaker: Rachmi Hertanti from the Transnational Institute, Indonesia.
