These resources are often sourced from peripheral regions, including post-Yugoslav countries, where mining projects threaten forests, water sources, and local livelihoods. Across the Balkans, resistance to extractivist industries is mounting. To explore these dynamics, we will screen the documentary <i class=\"\">Flotacija<\/i>\u00a0about a mining region in Eastern Serbia, followed by panel discussions featuring activists and experts from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
