Session 2

Not only fossil energy is dirty but also the trade agreements that protect them and the fossil companies’ practices that fight for them. Several trade agreements protect the trade in fossil fuels and investment in fossil infrastructure such as coal power plants. Speakers from Columbia and the Netherlands will share their experiences with fossil companies suing their countries over climate protection and energy transition laws.
