The German Supply Chain Act is a milestone for globally fairer trade. But while it has already led to initial progress in the protection of human rights, some actors are trying to undermine the law. They want to use the upcoming implementation of the European Supply Chain Act to weaken the German law. For the first time, PowerShift is now offering a trade-political city tour of the Supply Chain Act in Berlin's government district. Along the tour, we will use concrete examples to show what successes the Supply Chain Act has already made possible, how human rights due diligence obligations are implemented and what resistances fair and environmentally friendly trade still encounters.
