The trade agreement between the European Union and the Latin American Mercosur countries, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay is becoming increasingly hotly debated. It was recently high on the agenda at the EU-Latin America summit in Brussels. In today's episode, we talk about an aspect of the agreement that has received little attention so far – its impact on women. Women in South America, in particular, must fear for their jobs and access to medicines, education and other services through the trade agreement.
